Sweet, creamy and light
I finally got my hands on the most anticipated fragrance! After bagging this in the app exclusive early release, it was delivered today, I was so excited to get it out and see if it was worth the hype.
Firstly, before it arrived we saw the change of packaging was a hot topic and I must agree the packaging is very basic and not as special as the original. Obviously it’s the perfume that matters but the box is definitely part of the experience and does make for a pretty display.
The actual fragrance!
Upon the first spritz I got an instant sweet, floral and fruity hit, (a light but fresh smelling strawberry), then I got a warm, sweet, creamy vanilla and eventually it has dried down to a light fluffy creamy musk with a hint of marshmallow. Almost a faint strawberries and cream scent.
The dry down for me is very light I prefer my fragrance to project well and is long lasting, I feel it wouldn’t last very long on the skin on its own. Perhaps with a good layering body lotion there would be some longevity from this scent.
Overall, beautiful sweet and creamy smelling. I wish it stayed as strong as it did when the warmth came after the floral died down. Or if it was as intense and long lasting as the yum pistachio gelato. But it definitely is a beautiful fragrance and I would recommend to anyone that enjoys a sweet vanilla scent. I would purchase this again.
