Rated 1 out of 5 by from SEVERE ALLERGIC REACTION Like several others, I experienced a severe allergic reaction, including swollen, red eyes. For a few weeks, I had no idea what was causing it. I stopped using all products on my face and through elimination, discovered it was this product causing my reaction. I've spent hundreds of dollars in medical bills trying to figure out what was wrong.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Allergic reaction I also have a bad reaction with this product. I love the brand and have been using for more than 5 years, but lately I have been experiencing the worst allergic reaction and it took me months to realise it was this product. Lots of money spent on medication and skin specialists, when it was actually this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke me out in an itchy, burning rash! I used to use this years ago and loved it - was great for smoothing my acne prone skin and preventing breakouts. They stopped making it for a bit so I used salicylic acid by Revolution instead for a few years, but I bought this again at the weekend from a store in London and applied it last night to my face and neck, alongside my moisturiser that I use every day. Today I have tiny red bumps all over my face and neck, and they're itchy and burning. I've not had a reaction to skincare before and don't have sensitive skin. This formula used to be amazing but clearly something has changed and given the other reviews it seems like it's affecting a lot of people. Do not recommend at all!! Use the Revolution skincare salicylic instead of you want a good one!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dangerous I used this product on my forehead only. I used it only once in the evening for the tiny white bumps on my forehead. Next morning a big red bumpy rash over my forehead and it felt burning. Not impressed at all. I have never been allergic to any product or anything ever. (And I am by no means young) I had only just opened the product and had stored it correctly. Why? Why? Why? Should this product even be on the market? PS please don't offer me email correspondence or any other. Nothing can compensate. It's put me right off The whole range of The ordinary. Very disappointed

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Get this product of the market! A few months ago i used this product regularly. And i absolutely loved it, but since i bought a new bottle i have had a severe allergic reaction. My eyes started to swell and my face completely dry and red!! Idk if this is a new formula or whatever but stay away from this product! I Threw it in the trash immediately after seeing multiple people with the same allergic reaction. Get it off the market!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Use with caution I used this several times with no apparent problem. It's quite thick though, and not very easy to cover the skin. One time though, the next morning, my skin was very red under my eyes and I just assumed I'd put it on that skin accidentally. It took several days for the redness to subside. I didn't use it for several weeks, until three days ago. I put less on than before and made sure it went nowhere near my undereyes. The next day, my skin was red and inflamed and burning. Three days later, it is still red, but the swelling under the eyes has gone down. It seems very odd that I had no reaction the first few times I used it, but there is obviously something in it that seriously disagrees with my skin. I certainly won't be using it again, which is a shame as I bought two bottles. I also agree with other reviewers who say that it foams when you apply it - very odd. And it takes a long time to absorb.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from allergic reaction I used this product for about 2 years and it was great at getting rid of my milia spots, I loved it but then around march I woke up a few times with severe allergic reaction. I thought it was something else so stopped all products and just used a simple moisturiser to figure out what it was. I thought it was another product but then I used this again for the first time since then last night and my eyes are swollen again! I don’t know how I was fine with this product for ages and then suddenly not. Lots of money spent on antihistamines and creams to fix the dry cracked skin afterwards, not able to wear make up for a month. AVOID!!!
