The Ordinary Granactive Retinoid 5% in Squalane 30ml

The difference between Retinol and granative Retinol is that the granative is oil based and has very little or no irritation on skin compared to the Retinol. It can be used on stretch marks but i have no evidence that it makes a huge difference... you may be better off just using any oils like bio oil which has some good evidence that it helps.

Hi, Retinol is a weaker, over the counter version of tretinoin, a prescription vitamin A derivative that is highly effective in reversing sun damage and signs of aging. Vitamin A decreases fine lines, evens skin color, improves texture, tightens pores, and stimulates blood flow and collagen production. However this is a powerful product that can have some side effects, for example; a brief sensation of warmth or stinging immediately after applying, peeling, excessive dry skin,burning,redness and irritation. It may also may react with skin products, for example product that contain benzoyl peroxide, sulfur, acids (not including Hylaronic acid) and vitamin c can react to retinol. What we would suggest is lowering your dose of retinol to 3 - 4 times weekly at night until your skin has built up a tolerance to it and using The Ordinary 100% Organic Cold-Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil at night as it's full of vitamins, antioxidants and essential fatty acids that are known to correct dark spots and hydrate dry, itchy skin, all while reducing scars and fine lines. If you have not used a high strength Retinoid product before, it is recommended to start your routine with the Retinol 0.2% in Squalane and then go to a higher strength once your skin has built up an intolerance.
