Wanted to like...
I have been using Estee Lauder for the last 26 years. I order a lot, so I get some extra gifts. I tried Micro Essence and after two weeks, I broke out in acne. I am 56--to old to be grappling with the Pro-Active regiment. My face becomes red and puffy. I am going back to the toner. Disappointing.

Gentle
I am using this for the first time after cleansing my face. I have found it to be very gentle, but I'm also sure to use very soft cotton when applying it. Glad I added it to my daily routine and would like to continue using it to fully evaluate it long-term effects for my skin.

A surprise miracle!

Caused a Break Out
I don't know what it is about this product, but my skin was super unhappy about it. I broke out after using it for a couple weeks, and the acne marks have still not fully gone away 4 months later. At first I only suspected this was the problematic product because I had started a couple of new products from EL in the preceding weeks (I only put a couple of days to a week between each new one), but after I broke out, I slowly removed products from my line up, and this was the one that, once removed, stopped making the break out worse. It's a shame - I bought the full size ($$$), and it is completely useless. Be careful!

Worth the price
I think it's worth the price. The full size bottle is large, and it lasts me a while. I'm used to using a different brand of fermented essence but this one gives greater hydration than the previous one I used, so I really enjoy it for winter.
