Disappointment
I bought this a month ago had to return it. I was very disappointed! It’s heavy, clumpy, and the charge doesn’t last long. The battery runs low even when plugged in if it’s not pre fully charged. As a hairdresser I’ve used it on all hair types and found it’s good on caucasian/European and mixed textured hair; however on Afro hair, the results were not so good. It’s a real shame as the air dryer is absolutely phenomenal.

Best straightener ever used!
I brought this straightener after my Mum recommended it who has very course curly hair, I love that the tool has a brilliant heat temperature control and is cordless along with the teeth on the straightener plates to get a sleek look.

Not what I expected..
Well after having every Dyson hoover, for the last 10 years, I was really excited to try, the all new fancy cordless hair straighteners…
So my husband bought me them last Christmas.
Having had them now, nearly a year, I’m not happy with them at all. They are heavy.. your arms ache after straightening.. which brings me to, they pull your hair out, on contacting Dyson about the plates been rough on your hair!! They told me to use smaller sections of hair, and grip the plates tight, with your hands firmly pressing the plates tight on your hair, and pulling down. Okay that does seem to be a bit better, but I’m talking about tiny section of hair, been straightened this way, which takes absolutely ages, and kills your arms after 20 mins.
The cord is like magnetic to the straightener, so if you do run out of battery, it can be attached to the power, but as soon as you turn your head, the cord detaches all the time. Which is quite annoying.
I’m very gutted about these, as I love the hoovers, but these are a massive let down. I really would have taken them back, if I didn’t already open them.
Please take my advice, and go for GHD’s or Cloud nines.

My straighteners are amazing
I did have the blue straighteners but they wouldn’t charge properly so I phoned them up and they replaced them but couldn’t have the blue ones so had the red ones which are a lovely colour but it doesn’t go with my blue hairdryer but I am still happy with them
