Curlsmith In-Shower Style Fixer is not for the faint of heart.
This gel will lock your curls in a super strong hold which will provide extreme definition, long-lasting frizz control and weather protection for your curls.
It does create a strong cast while drying which will feel crunchy to the touch, but this is only temporary. Once the hair is fully dry you just need to scrunch out the crunch with a little bit of oil to make your curls soft and bouncy again.
WHO IS IT FOR? All curl types! Best for medium to coarse thickness hair. Suitable for any porosity.

Directions
- Use on soaking wet hair.
- Take a dime sized amount per hair section.
- Rub it between your palms first.
- Smooth down the length of the hair, using the “praying hands” method.
- Scrunch gently upwards, then air dry or diffuse.
- When fully dry, scrunch again to break the cast.

Maybe too strong hold for me
Seem to always end up with wonky waves when using this, great for hold but need to be very careful with your styling technique if you have a looser curl pattern.

Found my argan Snot substitute
I always used Argan Snot (2c/3a curls) and had to find a new product with the same hold. Let me tell you, it was not easy to find!! I tried many different products (so happy with shops where you can buy samples) and I stumbled upon this jelly. It gives a great hard cast and is easy to scrunch. If you are looking for a Argan Snot substitute, you should definitely try this one!

Decent hold for my fine hair
I found this made my hair feel sticky the first time I used it. When I used a bit less and then scrunched and diffused a little bit more, it felt much better. I have fine hair that gets weighed down easily so a strong hold gel is really helpful to keep my curls in place for a bit longer. It does feel like it gets tangled more easily though, but I think I'd get that with most gels.
